Battle Buddy Pheasant Hunt

We’ll be selecting a couple to travel to Des Moines, Iowa for a pheasant hunt in with Helping Heroes Foundation at Docs Hunt Club
This is an incredible hunt with a great partner non-profit at a premier pheasant hunting ranch in Iowa.
Battle Buddy constitutes: Veteran/Spouse, Parent/Youth (14+), Siblings, 2 Veterans who served together.
The purpose of this event is to connect & share with a loved one using the outdoors and wholesome hosts to create a memorable and purposeful experience.
details:
- Arrive Des Moines 18th, Depart 20th (evening)
- 3 half-day hunts (x2 Saturday, x1 Sunday)
- Good conduct discharge is required for all Veteran applicants
INCLUDED IN THE AWARD:
- Coach class roundtrip airfare (or travel stipend based off mileage)
- Lodging, meals, guns/ammo, clay pigeon shooting, bird cleaning
- Photography
HUNTER IS RESPONSIBLE FOR:
- A valid hunting license in the US, required hunting safety courses*
- Outfitter tip & incidentals
- Proper hunt clothing & equipment
* (Adult recipients must have a hunter’s education card before application. Resident Iowa youth under 16 are not required to have a license but must be accompanied by a licensed adult 18 or older. Non-resident youth under the age of 16 are required to possess a non-resident youth preserve license.)
