Battle Buddy Pheasant Hunt
We’re selecting two pairs of “Battle Buddies” for a pheasant hunt in partnership with Helping Heroes Foundation at Legacy Acres Hunting Club .
This is an incredible hunt with a great non-profit partner at a premier pheasant hunting ranch in Iowa.
“Battle Buddy” constitutes: Veteran & Spouse, Parent & Youth (14+), Siblings, 2 Veterans who served together…
Spend a weekend someone special in your life for more than just hunting. It’s about camaraderie, connection, shared values, memory making, and what will be a re-energizing/therapeutic experience.
** This is a special opportunity only for Veterans with an Honorable Discharge.
Verification will be required before being selected. Â
details:
- All onsite expenses covered (less incidentals, souvenirs, etc.)
- Half-day hunts (x2 Saturday, x1-2 Sunday)
- On-site chef & meals
Detailed coordination will be made after applicants are selected.
INCLUDED IN THE AWARD:
- Lodging, meals, guns/ammo, clay pigeon shooting, bird cleaning
- Photography
HUNTER IS RESPONSIBLE FOR:
- Transportation to/from Legacy Acres Hunting Club
- A valid hunting license in the US, required hunting safety courses*
- Outfitter tip & incidentals
- Proper hunt clothing & equipment
* (Adult recipients must have a hunter’s education card before application. Resident Iowa youth under 16 are not required to have a license but must be accompanied by a licensed adult 18 or older. Non-resident youth under the age of 16 are required to possess a non-resident youth preserve license.)
